For months now I have been desperate to sign up for a monthly beauty box so I looked at all sorts of boxes, Birch Box, Love Me Beauty or Glossybox. In the end I went for GlossyBox as I had read a lot of great reviews saying they tended to go for the high end beauty products and at just £10 a month I thought this was a complete bargain. So last Tuesday I signed up!!
After a week of excitement today was the day that the box arrived. After dashing home at lunchtime to see what treats I had received I tore the box open quicker than you can say Glossy box and this is what I got.
nailgirls 3-in-1 Base/Topcoat & Nail Strengthener £13.50 nailgirls.co.uk:- You know me I love nail polish so this was a great item to receive espeically as this morning I decided to give my nails a break for a bit to give them a bit of a breather. I'll be using this right away!
got2b Rise 'n Shine Soufflé £4.07 superdrug.com:- I've never tried a soufflé type texture hair product before and being a hair dresser I'm really interested to see how this works.
Teeez Trend Cosmetics Beautful Flat Stiff Brush €19 nelly.com:- The booklet says this is a premium quality brush that is made with natural hair. The design on this is really cute and I'll be really interested to see how good this is as I have to admit I only ever use my Mac brushes but as they always say it's good to try something new every now and then!!
Roger&Gallet Fleur de Figuier Discovery Ritual Shower Cream £9.50, Body Lotion £13 and Eau Fraîche Fragrance £32 marksandspencer.com:- Now if I'm honest I'm really disappointed with this. These are two small sample sized body lotions and shower gels with a small perfume. The perfume smells alright, I'm not ecstatic about it. I also received a 20% off voucher for Roger & Gallet online, which I'm not sure I'll use if I'm really honest.
So Susan Cosmetics Universal Blush £18 sosusan.com:- I've never heard of So Susan before but I was immediately really impressed with their packaging. The blush is a beautiful colour and I can't wait to try it.
Overall I have to say I wasn't blown away when I saw the box and then when I went online to see what others had thought I was a little disappointed to see others had got some really amazing products such as full sized perfume from Selfridges. I know that with all of these boxes not everyone gets the same but I guess I just expected as it was my first box it may have had a bit more of a wow factor. The other disappointment was that although I ordered this on the 1st July and received it on the 7th July I actually got the June box which was frustrating.
I'm going to give it another go and hopefully get the July box this month.
Thanks for your review. I've been considering signing up for a beauty box too, and definitely found that reviews on Glossybox are the best. Definitely give it another go, hopefully you get products that blow you away next time!

I hope you get a better box this month! I hate when there are good boxes and then bad boxes, not fair on some people!
