August Glossybox 2014

So I have finally got round to writing this blog post! The house move has totally taken over the past few months and I have really neglected my blog but I'm determined to get back on track, so without further a-do here is my review on the August Glossybox. I was really excited about the August box as I had stayed away from all the spoilers that normally fly around so it would be a complete surprise when it arrived. When I opened my box I had a grin from ear to ear and after having to count several times I realised there were actually 6 items in my box!

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer £38 for 250ml www.philipkingsley.co.uk: This has to be my absolute favorite product from this months box. This was actually originally created for the stunning Audrey Hepburn as a hair conditioning treatment that you use before you shampoo and condition your hair. It promises to moisturize the hair cuticle, restore elasticity and bounce to your hair which it absolutely does. I have used this product twice now and I'll definitely be re-purchasing it!

Figs & Rouge Hand Cream £6.95 for 80ml www.figsandrouge.com: I love hand creams so I was instantly pleased to see this in my box. I haven't tried anything from Figs and Rouge so I was really interested to see what this would be like. All Figs and Rouge products are 100% pure and natural and thoroughly moisturizing. It took me days to work out what the smell reminded me of.......Double Lollies..does anyone else remember these?! I was obsessed with these as a child. The packaging really stands out and it's a great to pop in my hand bag with the cold weather approaching.

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick £2.29 www.wilko.com: I've heard alot about Essence and Lauren has even given me a few bits to try so I was really happy to see this in the box. The colour is just perfect for me, I don't tend to go for really bright reds so this soft pink is right up my street and at £2.29 you can't go wrong.

Yves Rocher Nail Varnish in 'Rose' £3.60 for 3ml www.yves-rocher.co.uk: Firstly how cute is this little pot of nail varnish! The colour itself is not really something I would go for but I absolutely love it.

L'Amour Lalique £67 for 50ml bottle www.lalique.com: At first I wasn't sure about this scent but as the day went on it really did grow on me. The bottle in the picture is so cute and I would actually purchase this as a day to day scent.

Kyrolan for Glossybox Highlighter 'Cashmere' £12.95 for 4.5g www.global.kryolan.com: This was such a cute added extra to celebrate Glossybox's 3rd Birthday and I'm really enjoying using it. The colour is really pretty and I've used it every single day since I've had it.

This has to be my fav box that I have received from Glossybox and I've really enjoyed using every single product. A HUGE thumbs up from me and a very Happy Birthday Glossybox!!!

  1. That Phillip Kingsley product is amazing. I've had a mini size that I've been eaking out for so long because I don't want it to run out! Don't go stealing it from me now! Xx
